Really, Glee shenanigans kind of make me want to pat it on the head and coo, “D’awww you try so HARD, it’s cute.”
Agreed. And I feel this even moreso as an X-Phile, where the creator frankly admitted he had no idea in hell as to what he was doing and had no endgame or plan. So many awesome parts of the show like the Mythology were wrecked because they would do things, have no idea where to go with them, kill off characters, second-guess and bring them back in incomprehensible ways, and generally just commit a lot of fuckery just to see how things would fall if they blew shit up. Glee could be accused of doing the same, especially in cases such as Quinn, but overall they do seem to have a lot of sensitivity in the end.
