I recently read in Take Two how much the guys really hate this video, and I don’t understand why. It’s simple perfection to me. And the guys might be the most attractive they could possibly be in this. The video turned me into a fan of the song.

I can’t get over how accurate these are. Gary IS Winnie-the-Pooh (“Lunchtime’s always good — and the next highlight is dinnertime”) and bouncy beady-eyed Tigger… according to Wikipedia “is very confident and has quite an ego —- can also be mischievous, and his actions have sometimes led to chaos and trouble for himself and his friends”. Mark IS Piglet. Rabbit/Jason is a worrier who eats vegetables and has large family. And Howard is just like Eeyore with his lack of confidence and self-depreciating “poor me I’ve got only 50 fangirls” statements.
And Willorange: Rabbit is said (ok in Wikipedia) to be the one to ‘unbounce’ Tigger and “is sometimes exasperated by Tigger’s constant bouncing” … “Tigger’s antics continue to annoy Rabbit, while Rabbit’s harsh attitude and attempts to teach Tigger a lesson still come off as unkind —- however, they have become close friends, though very dysfunctional ones, who regularly work together.”HOLY CRAP. THE TIGGER/RABBIT STUFF.

Why did 90’s TT have to constantly wear sports jerseys from the crappy American football teams? I think the day that I saw Mark wearing an Alabama Crimson Tide jersey was the day I first cried over a TT pic.
That’s a question I keep asking myself every time I look at my pictures from the 90’s. Apparently sports jerseys from the crappy American football teams were a big thing fashion-wise in Europe in the 90’s.
I had always thought that Brits were obsessed with New York teams like the Yankees. How would anyone in Europe even be aware of Alabama football? And San Diego Chargers? Really, Jason?
That said, I think a few of us should start a campaign to get someone in the group into hockey, simply because the sweaters are awesome and would be terrific travel gear.
This is my all-time fave boyband song, and I’ll tell you why.
Pop was on N’SYNC’s last album and was the lead-off single. It was produced by Brian Transeau, better known as BT and probably one of the best-known trance artists of the late-’90s. He’s done the score for several movies, most notably The Fast and the Furious and Zoolander. He also invented the stutter edit, which is all over most dubstep tracks today. He’s another one of my top-3 artists of all time and I highly recommend checking him out on YouTube. And if you listen to nothing else, just play this playlist for his album ESCM late at night sometime. You’ll thank me for it.
Apparently Justin and JC heard Hip Hop Phenomenon, insisted that he produce something off for their next album and then insisted that it be the leadoff single. It was a real departure for them and was brave.
And all of this is to make my case - Take That are no longer a boyband and BT’s changed direction a bit in the last few years and is probably too ambient for their tastes now, but EDM is huge, especially in Europe. So I would appreciate it if they’d consider having Tiesto produce something for the next album.

Geez, the first one alone will have me sleeping happy tonight. Someone should really figure out a way to isolate the vocal tracks on one of their live shows (it’s been done with Britney before) so that we could have an all-Jay version of Pray. He just looks too angelic singing it, and then alternately devilish, My god the eye porn. I couldn’t care less if it’s pitchy.
